Section 48
Disposition versions
48. Several retailers may group together to fulfill their obligations under this subdivision, except those set out in sections 52 and 53, on condition that the group has obtained prior approval from any producer that has developed and implemented the deposit-refund system, but remain individually responsible for compliance.
When such a group is formed, its members are required to allow any retailer who so wishes to join, even if the group is already formed. A retailer joining the group must comply with the rules set by its members and with the provisions of section 49.
